I’m a music lover, but there’s no easy tool to write music on a computer. Music Score Creator was built to help musicians to edit, visualize, transpose and share their songs.

It was my first entire project with web components and Polymer 0.5. It’s based on VexFlow that renders music sheets.

My thoughts on the app

This very experimental app was an awesome experience and we, as a team, learned a lot about JavaScript and the philosophy behind web components.

We actually went beyond our first expectations thanks to the way we assigned tasks to each other.

However, the architecture of the app is quite bad. We developed this product in a very short time and we didn’t actually try to make the app modular.

This music app is now deprecated as Polymer has now released its 1.0 version.
